I'm a member school, should I plan to go to the convening?

Our annual convenings are put together specifically for our member schools to come together to share best practices and learn of new strategies and resources. If you are a member school, you should definitely take part in this benefit of your membership with the Coalition.

How much does it cost to attend the convening if I am a member school?

If you are a member school, the regular fee for the convening is waived for you and all other attendees from your school.

How much does it cost to attend the convening if I am NOT a member school?

If you are currently NOT a member school, the cost to attend the 2019 Convening is $150.00 per attendee.

If I am a member school, does DCSC help with travel costs?

Yes! All of our member schools who RSVP to attend this year's convening are eligible for a $500.00 travel reimbursement per school.

How does the travel reimbursement work?

All member schools will receive a post-event email that will contain a reimbursement form. Simply complete the reimbursement form with receipts which you are seeking reimbursement for up to $500.00 (please note that the travel reimbursement can only be applied to air fare, car fare, and lodging costs, not meals).

Can I only come to the convening if I join DCSC?

Not at all! While the majority of the programming for our 2019 Convening is tailored towards our member schools, prospective member schools and prospective partner organizations will also be able to gain major takeaways from the convening.
